Questionable
I just signed up with Xfinity on 10/14/2026. I purchased the internet and security and I was told there was a free phone service included for a year. Well I signed up, talked with an Xfinity representative. She transferred my existing phone number and I received the equipment the next day.
Well, my phone does not work. I am unable to make calls, receive calls, messages. Called Xfinity, I spoke with Nathan 5479, a supervisor and he informed me that that promotion was not accurate. He stated that the representative that I spoke with at Xfinity, was not an Xfinity employee but a random salesperson from the internet. That the service I purchased would not work in that area, I would experience buffering and spotty service and I should go to AT&T.
He said I was confused, which is an insult. The promotion was not accurate and he proceeded to sell me a package from AT&T.
I'm really disappointed in these results. I did my due diligence in exploring internet options and I thought this was a legitimate, professional find. Nathan 5479 was rude, overtalked me to get his point across without hearing what my legitimate concern was.
The audacity of him referring me to another company, not of my choosing, was too much.
And still, I am without phone service and questionable internet service.
