Unique network unlock issue

My Galaxy A53 failed several months ago. However, I had my son's Galaxy S21.  David had passed away two years ago.  I just kept his phone.  So, here's my issue: I need to add an eSim for traveling purposes.  David's phone is network locked.  The phone says that Xfinity Mobile has locked it.  I don't know his account number, just his name, address and last phone number.

Several attempts to work with support, either at the local Xfinity store or online, have failed.

How do I get the lock removed?

To confirm, is the device fully paid off? Are you aware of any past due balance that may be on the account?
