CableCard Activation/Repair
I have two existing, previously activated CableCARDs in two TiVo Roamios. Both lost authorization simultaneously immediately after an Xfinity power/service outage, and every channel now returns V58. This is not an individual TiVo reboot or channel-package issue. I have tried activation on my end with not luck and cannot get a single Xfinity customer rep that will listen to my specific issue, let alone the required steps to fix it. I need advanced repair to verify that both CableCARD serial numbers remain assigned to my account with the correct CableCARD equipment codes. I need someone at Xfinity to please check their Host ID and Data ID pairing and validation, then send an initialization/refresh and entitlement signal - If the cards have no OOB lock or VCT information, then please open a local headend/legacy CableCARD outage ticket. I have gotten nowhere with Xfinity support thus far and know this is not an issue that will be resolved by a technician visit. I just need someone who understands what I am describing and can follow the steps I have outlined.

I do not understand why it is so difficult to get assistance from Xfinity for this issue - even when you outline exactly what the problem is and what they need to do on their side to fix it. I have been a Comcast customer for over 40 years and the lack of support and follow-through for this issue is really pushing me towards canceling my cable tv service with them all together.

Hi @user_ii7961, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. Please note that sending unsolicited private messages to myself or any other user is a direct violation of our forum guidelines. You must first create a Public post requesting assistance, and once a Comcast verified employee responds and asks for a private message to be sent, you can then proceed with doing so. This is just a heads-up for future reference, but I look forward to further assisting you.
We recommend visiting our Getting Started in the Xfinity Help & Support Forum, Xfinity Forum Guidelines, and Xfinity Forum Acceptable Use Policy to familiarize yourself with the guidelines.
Please note that CableCARDs are End-of-Life (EOL) and have limited support. We would be more than happy to check a few things on our end, but if unsuccessful, we do not have an escalations path and would recommend converting to our Xfinity X1 set-top boxes or Xfinity Stream App to access your Xfinity Video subscription.
With the v58 error, have you ensured that all coax connections are screwed in tightly along with no hard bends, kinks, bite marks, or cuts that could interfere with the signal delivery to the equipment?
