Thanks for reaching out to us,
We do apologize for any inconvenience you're having,
once you plug the wireless box power cord in and plug in your HDMI cable to your TV you should see a white light on the front of the cable box pop on and then on your TV screen you should see it go through the welcome startup screen.
You want to make sure you're getting a strong Wi-Fi connection in that area so that wireless box can connect to your home network.
If there's no light on the box then you'll want to check your power outlets in power strips but if all that's good and there's no white light on the front of that wireless box then there's most likely an issue with that box and you would want to get a new box
