Paramount+ not able to login

When I go to the Paramount Xfinity site using either the code for the QR code I get the following.

Your account is now activated. Please return to your Xfinity device to start your streaming adventure.

Then the TV never updates it just stays on that screen but changes the activation code.  Using the other method to log into the TV doesn’t work either, but I can log into Paramount site and it works on my iPhone and iPad.

@user_74e5t2 Thank you for reaching out about this concern. Were you able to view your Paramount+ through your TV?

 

If you are still having trouble with this, how did you initially sign up for Paramount +? Can you please let us know any steps you have taken, like restarting your modem/TV?

I signed up through Paramount.  I called Xfinity to see if I could stream as an add on, and they said no, only way was directly with Paramount. I tried restarting and still not able to view on any TV in my home.

user_74e5t2, based on the steps outlined here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/paramount-plus-app, it sounds like you've taken the right path. I would attempt to clear the locally stored data to see if it helps clear up the roadblock. The steps here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-clear-cookies-and-local-data-storage will show you how to do just that. I would then attempt the activation process again if needed.
