Remote trouble

Something is wrong with the xumo remote when I hit the number 3 it’s turning off the tv the up and down buttons are working I hit the down button and it takes me to setting and I can’t see to figure out how to repair it.

Based on what you've described, it sounds like the remote may have become incorrectly programmed, causing some buttons to perform the wrong functions. One thing you can try is checking and reprogramming the remote's device code. If the remote was set up using the Searching for the Code method, you can identify the current code by following these steps:
  1. Press and hold the SET button until the red light blinks twice, then release it.
  2. Enter 9-9-0.
  3. Press 1 to view the first digit of the code and count the number of red light blinks.
  4. Press 2, 3, and 4 to view the remaining digits, noting the blink count for each.
