rng150n

yesterday my cable box rng150n stopped working,

now just displays "one moment please"

ive tried rebooting to no avail,

had them try refresh to no avail,

i can not get thru to a live person in support.

my other 2 (x1) boxes work fine.

i prefer this older non x1 box,

did they stop service to these old boxes?

i have a wierd feeling the box itself is fine,

the channel guide loads and it acts normal

otherwise.

thanks,

Hey there, @jbhb, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your TV box. We are phasing out non-X1 TV boxes. We are no longer able to provide replacements for these boxes. However, we are still servicing the equipment. Have you tried checking all the wiring or replacing the coaxial cord to the box? Also, are you using a splitter for the box?

hi Jeniece,  yes have checked all this, but i have since found today that it actually still gets two local access channels i think is 008 , 009, but all other channels "one moment please" i had also just had notice that there was "work scheduled in area a couple days ago" perhaps that is just coincidence but seems to coincide with the issue

Thanks for the update @jbhb. Since the box is still receiving the guide and a couple of local channels, that helps narrow things down. Just to clarify, are all subscribed channels showing "One Moment Please" while channels 8 and 9 continue to work? Also, did the issue begin before, during, or after the scheduled work in your area?
