X15 Remote with Xi6

Have had the Xi6 for about 1 week.  I have noticed several times that the Xi6 does not respond to remote commands.  Then I discovered that if you press the Xfinity button the Xi6 starts to respond to the remote commands.  Is this a bug or a feature?

user_d9806f Sounds like the remote that came with the box may be having an issue with the pairing to the box. Can you try to unpair it first https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-remote-unpair, and then pair it again https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/programming-your-xfinity-remote to see if it works better for you please?
