Xfinity Stream on Roku Ultra : AXS TV channel

I recently ditched my old Xfinity Cable TV XG1v4 DVR and am now going all internet TV using the Xfinity Stream App on my Roku Ultra. I have the Xfinity TV Premium channel lineup (which I think includes pretty much all channels). One channel I am missing is the AXS TV channel. Doing some research, I see that AXS TV channel is now one of the TV Go channels (internet only vs cable TV). I can access the AXS TV channel going to https://www.xfinity.com/stream on my MS Windows PC. At any rate, I don't seem to be able to access the AXS TV channel using the Xfinity Stream App on Roku. I also tried installing the AXs App on Roku, but then I came to find out that the AXs app is some entirely different than the AXS TV channel. Has anyone been able to access AXS TV via Roku?

Well, I was surprised to now see AXS TV on channel 1613 on my Roku as well as at https://www.xfinity.com/stream on my MS Windows PC. Either it was there all along and I just missed it or it recently appeared there. Maybe it moves back and forth between a cable channel and a TV Go channel? Whatever, I hope I can continue to access it on my Roku. For now I am good.

Thanks yes here is my question:

Is AXS TV:

1. a Cable Channel

2. a TV Go channel

3. both a Cable Channel and a TV Go channel

4. varies depending on date and time?

The link: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/id11-channel-lineup can be helpful in locating your channel lineup for your address. It does appear AXSTV is a TVGO channel.

I went to the link you provided above ( https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/id11-channel-lineup) and I see AXS TV listed both at channel 1613 and as a TV Go channel. So maybe the answer to my question above is:

3. both a Cable Channel and a TV Go channel

4. varies depending on date and time?

It would be great to get a definitive answer here.

@bbdude I am sorry for misunderstanding. But the network is a cable channel and as stated listed as a TVGO channel. These do not change based off date and time. There is a contract in place which may affect the network on our platform in the future but we do not have that information to provide you.

Also, I should ask, in general, is AXS TV still part of the channel lineup when viewed using the X1 boxes? Is this service area dependent? I have really enjoyed many of the live music videos that were featured on AXS TV in the past and I'm hoping I can figure out a way to make this channel visible on Roku.

Thank you for reaching out to our team about that AXS availability. You can always check the https://www.xfinity.com/stream/listings site for the channels that are available on the X1 boxes in your market.
