xg2v2 dvr offer xfinity voice caller id on tv?

On a service call, the Xfinity tech installed a new "improved" xg2v2 DVR. I already miss the clock and red light showing a recording is happening. I have Xfinity voice (which was a hassle to set up itself) and no Caller ID will show up on the live TV when a call comes in. Does that xg2v2 DVR not support Caller ID on the TV? Looking on the Xfinity website under X1 DVRs it does not show that xg2 model. If it doesn't support Caller ID on TV, which one does? Is the xg2v2 outdated?

SeattleSportsGuy We would need to look into your account to check your specific box you're referring to in order to assist with your Caller ID concerns. To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a Direct Message. 
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
