That being said, I would be happy to help with the charge for the rental if you purchase the movie as a one-time courtesy credit. I run into this same thing from time to time where the movie surprises me and I want to own it instead.

@user_0u14df Normally yes, however it depends on the license agreement we have with the distributing network. Most content customers are allowed to purchase, but some may only be available to rent. The steps are listed here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-stream-app-purchases. If it does not have the option to purchase, renting or saving it to the Cloud is our option. Let us know if you do purchase after renting.
