on demand stops in the middle

season 1, episode 13 of "so help me todd" stops in the middle and reverts back to the on-demand menu.  when clicking "watch again" the show starts from the beginning and stops again in the exact same place, we can't finish the episode.  please fix.

For whatever reason on the 4th attempt today the issue has fixed itself. No idea why...

Same issue. I have tried to watch it all the way through now 3 times, which is tedious because there is no fast forward option and it keeps stopping at the same seen where they find the body. I forget what minute it ends at because it just jumps out of On Demand and goes to a regular channel.

Hi @thehousedog, I know how frustrating it is having episode 13 of "so help me todd" stop in the middle. I'd like to ask, have you tried resetting the box to see if this makes any difference?

Is it just happening to one box or does seem like all devices and boxes are experiencing this?

watching our recordings, they will stop in middle and show the screen to watch next episode.  We go back to beginning and fast forward to after the stop spot and it will continue to play again for a few minutes then it stops again and does the same thing.  We again have to go back to the beginning and fast forward to the spot and continue to watch.  This will happen 6 to 10 times to get through our show.  We go to ondemand and it happens on that too. I also happens on our other cable box when we watch a recording through that.  This happens on alot of our shows and it is not just one channel that we record off from.  What can we do to fix this?

We know how important it to be able to watch your recordings without issue.

What, if any, troubleshooting steps have you attempted already? Also, are you experiencing this issue both on X1 and the Xfinity Stream app? If on the Stream app, have you tested different devices to recreate the problem? It sounds like this happens with multiple programs. Does it occur with the same programs all the time, or at random?
