50% off on your bill

Is Xfinity having a promotion where you get 50% off your bill by prepay 6  months at 125 using two Target gift cards at 375 each. Then you get three years at $125. The place that called payed this months bill plus now I have a $200 credit. They sent me email stating the was a problem with the cards but they were cashed yesterday

This is most definitely a scam and not something we offer or do. We would never ask for gift cards to pay your bill and wouldn't apply it to the bill. Did you provide them with the gift cards already?

Yes, they were cashed and then they sent me a notice the next day saying that there was a problem which I have not answered.

@user_nlovt6, I'm sorry to hear that, and they are probably trying to get more money out of you, and that's why you got the notice of its, "Having Problems". We won't be able to get you that money back, but you can report this to our Customer Security Assurance Team: https://spa.xfinity.com/help. Going forward, please reach out to us directly so we can confirm if something is a scam and to make sure you get to an actually Xfinity/Comcast customer service specialist to help with your concerns.

I was also told I can pay 50 present of my bill yesterday when I called the 1800 number now I’m getting told I was given false information but how if I called the xfinity number
