Agent LIED about free phone promotion

In May 2025, I called to transfer my internet, as we were moving. While on the call, the agent sold me on switching to Xfinity Mobile. He said that my current three phones couldn't be switched over, but that there was a promotion going on where I could get 3 new phones for free, if I picked from specific model numbers. Also one of those lines would be free because i already had internet with Xfinity. After confirming multiple times that the phones were free, and that my total monthly bill would be cheaper than T-Mobile, I agreed.

After months of turmoil, where they moved my phone lines to ANOTHER PERSON'S ACCOUNT, including my credit card number, and then had to call this stranger and get consent to move the lines back off, they now say there never was a promotion for free phones. Apparently the original agent lied to get me to sign up. I have been told multiple times that the "backend team" is "investigating," but nothing has happened. I have spoken to representatives at every level, spending hours of my life on this. I have begged them to listen to the original call, but no change. I asked if I could hear the call, or get a transcript, to no avail.

So now I am stuck paying for phones that I never wanted and feel completely scammed. Who knew a "legit" company could just lie to customers and nothing can be done about it?
