Are "Premium Unlimited" and "Unlimited Premium" two different mobile plans?

I just upgraded one of the lines to "Unlimited Premium" from "Unlimited," and the confirmation email says

  •     50 GB/mo of high-speed data, reduced speeds after 50 GB
15 GB/mo of mobile hotspot data, reduced speeds after 15 GB
        HD streaming with 720p video

This is different from the Premium Unlimited plan advertised:

  • Unlimited talk, text, and data in the US and internationally
Unlimited mobile hotspot data, reduced after 30 GB
    4K video streaming
Upgrade your phone anytime, even before it’s paid off
    Spam call protection

Am I getting a grandfathered plan? I changed the plan for "unlimited international data," but the line still has Global Travel Pass ($10/day) that can't be removed.

You somehow chose or got put into

the WRONG PLAN Somehow

If you wanted their highest tiered

plan you should have asked for the

plan with the MOST DATA, Most perks and

Highest caps they allow

You’ll need to visit an XFINITY Store

contact customer care

or try and see what you can change in

The XFINITY App or via the website

Fair warning though the highest tiered

most feature packed mobile phone plan

can run around $45 to $60 a month

and while eligible for certain discounts

still typically won’t get any cheaper than

$10 to $20 a month per line

for example I’m on the highest mobile tier offered as I was trying to do the

“FREE Line for 1 year w/ 300 mbps or higher home Wi Fi internet plan”

alas max discount only brought me down to

$10 a month

Thanks for your reply. I was paying $20 for the Unlimited Intro plan, and the Unlimited Premium plan was the only upgrade option available. The new plan costs $30. It took more than a week to switch and even longer to have Global Travel Pass removed. I will go to a corporate store to see if the staff there are more knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, we do not grandfather our data plans any longer. You definitely made the right choice in upgrading your plan to the Xfinity Mobile Premium Unlimited. The Global Travel Pass is actually included within this data plan, so you shouldn't be charged for it. Once you exceed the 10 Gigabits of high speed data is when you may incur additional charges. Here is a link to our FAQ - Gobal Travel Pass.

@XfinityBenjaminM Thanks for your reply. However, in my accunt the description of the current Unlimited Premium plan doesn't jibe with the advertised Premium Unlimited plan. For example,

Hotspot data: 15GB vs 30GB

Streaming: 720p vs 4K
