Billing Surcharge

I was charged $222.35 for data usage, but my internet service was down during that time — I have screenshots showing outages and credits on my account. Because I had no Wi-Fi, my phone used mobile data by necessity. This is not fair usage — it’s the result of your outage. I am requesting that the overage charges be credited back.

Hey @XfiniRickk we can definitely take a look at your account. We can certainly check for the credits that can apply to this interruption however we do not make up for lost wages or data usage. 

 

You can send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started. 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
