cancel xfinity mobile

Hi there, I would like to cancel my Xfinity Mobile service. The service has never been used but I'm being billed each month for it. I am overseas and cannot call the 1800 number for cancelling it. There is no way to cancel the service in the Xfinity app or web portal.

Hello @user_s1lbwo, and appreciate you for reaching out to us on our Xfinity Community Forum! While we'd hate to see you leave, we understand your decision. To better know your situation, how long ago did you sign up for Xfinity Mobile?

Xfinity Mobile lines can be canceled at any time, either by contacting us or by porting your number to another provider. Please note that if you cancel without porting your number, you may lose it.

There are no Early Termination Fees for Xfinity Mobile. However, if you're outside the 14-day return period, any remaining device payments and applicable charges would still be due.

You can find more details in our link: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/cancel-xfinity-mobile-service

Let us know how long you've had the service and if you need any additional assistance. We're happy to help.

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply. I never activated the Xfinity Mobile service and am not using any Xfinity devices: I was offered a free 12 month plan for Xfinity Mobile with my real estate agent's internet connection but I never actually used the service. When the real estate agent cancelled the internet connection due to my leaving the United States, my credit card was charged for Xfinity mobile.

As mentioned in my original message, I don't live in the United States and there is no way to cancel online. When chatting with Xfinity Assistant I am told I need to call a 1800 number, which is simply not possible from overseas.

Please help me cancel this service.

Thanks.

Thank you for the additional details. We understand being overseas makes this situation more challenging.

To help us better understand the account setup, was the internet account with your real estate agent in your name, making you the primary account holder, or were you associated with someone else's account?

Once we know how the services were set up, we'll be in a better position to guide you on the next steps.

Hi there,

As far as I understand, the account is in the real estate agent's name, as that is the name that appears on the account statement of both the home internet and the mobile plan. However, the unactivated mobile plan was linked to my credit card.

Kind regards
