Changing cell numberBUT….
I’m thinking of getting a new number much is hard since
i I actually chose this 1313 number 26 years ago but it’s time for a new one I think. My main question is this, can I get a different area code other than where my mailing address is? I travel for work and I’d like to get on in NewPort RI or something similar.

Great question, @VividReality! The Can I change my Xfinity Mobile number? shares this as well, but changing your phone number is completely randomized based on your service address. Now that you are aware of that information, would you still like to move forward with changing your phone number?
