Hello, I see you can get an unlimited line for two years free. Can that be used on an existing line? Looking online it doesn’t say it needs to be a new line.

thank you

user_wrzaua Xfinity Mobile offers a free Unlimited line for one year (not two) to eligible Xfinity Internet customers who add a new Unlimited line. This typically requires having 300 Mbps or faster home internet, and the promo often applies only to new mobile customers or specific promotional periods.

@XfinityThomasB

that’s interesting, I have a screenshot from the veteran status email I got and it says “one unlimited Xfinity line included with Xfinity internet for two years”

it also says “ verified military customers are eligible for one free line per account”

Okay, thank you for the clarification. There is a Military offer for the free line for 2-years. To access that offer you would have to verify your status on the Xfinity.com/mobile site. That free offer is for a new line of Mobile service. On the website the information should show:

  • $0 x 24 Unlimited Xfinity Mobile line when adding a new line of Unlimited service (one included line per account, details below)

my status has been verified. I wouldn’t be able to use the free line on an existing number?

That is correct, the only option  I can see for that is if you add a new line of Unlimited Mobile service.

@XfinityJohnG that’s very upsetting it can’t be used on an existing line. It shouldn’t make a difference but thank you.
