Dispute of Unauthorized International Roaming Charges
Dear Customer Support Team,
I am writing to formally dispute the international roaming charges that were recently applied to my account.
Today, I received a bill indicating more than $350 in roaming fees. I traveled to India, but I want to clearly state that I never enabled international roaming on my Xfinity SIM. Upon arrival, I immediately pre-purchased a local data plan through an eSIM and used Wi-Fi throughout my trip.
I kept my Xfinity SIM in the phone only to use Wi-Fi Calling, which is advertised as free for calls and texts over Wi-Fi. I relied exclusively on Wi-Fi and my eSIM for internet usage and did not use Xfinity’s cellular network while abroad.
At no point did I authorize or knowingly use international roaming services. After noticing the unexpected charges, I removed the Xfinity SIM from my phone to prevent any further billing.
Given these circumstances, I respectfully request that the roaming charges be reviewed and removed, as they were not authorized and do not reflect my actual usage. I value being a customer and hope this matter can be resolved promptly and fairly.
