email questions

November 10, 2024 questions on email for a Comcast account:

1.) If I switch to T-fiber for internet, will I lose my comcast email address that I have had for close to 30 years?

2.) Also, why are there so many broken links/inability to see images on messages sent to me?

3.) Why is there so so so much spam recently with the email address being ones like this: <user+ 4 digit number--@comcast.net> and other ones that say "user + a number@comcast.net?  What can be done about that?

4.)  Why can I no longer embed an image right in the body of an email like we used to be able to do?

Thanks for your response.

user_ykv90p Thanks for posting on our Community Forums. If you decide to cancel your services, you will still keep your email account as long as certain requirements are kept. For embedding and broken links, I would try clearing the cache/cookies on your browser, or trying an incognito/private web page to see if it helps. For spam emails, I would recommend contacting our Customer Security Assurance team, who are a specialized group that assists with all email concerns and security measures.
