eSIM
I am looking into getting an eSIM for a trip to Japan. If I only use the internet services such as iMessage, Facetime Audio and apps that utilize the internet will my global pass activate or will it only activate once I make a phone call or add an SMS message?

Good morning @user_skpwvm, and thanks for reaching out to us on the Xfinity forums, I hope you are having a great weekend. With Xfinity mobile customers have international roaming calls and texts included with all plans at no added cost. The global travel pass is for international data usage and depending on the plan you are on you would either get 10 GB of high speed data or 5 GB of high speed data, and it starts the first time you use data in a destination that’s covered.
