Global Travel Pass Messages?

Hello, 

We are using a WiFi hotspot for our trip to Japan and have left our phones in airplane mode.


However, we have gotten some messages about Global Travel Pass being active. How can we ensure we aren’t billed for this trip since we are leaving our phones in airplane mode?

I asked customer service and they just kept copy and pasting the global travel policy which I am familiar with, I need someone to actually look at our account to ensure we will not be billed extra for this month.

Please help.

user_mikeden2k Great question disabling the roaming is not the normal question so I can understand the confusion and thank you for making a post for help. There are individual settings in your phone, and you would need to make sure they are enabled to use the global data options. You can make sure those are disabled by checking the steps located here: How do I prepare my device for international roaming?

You can check in the Xfinity app under plan features as well to see if the global travel pass is a listed plan feature. Lastly, you can call our global support team at 1-720-728-5462 toll-free since you are out of the US currently to confirm any billing that may be pending.
