global travel pass question
I will be traveling in Europe this summer. If I enable the global travel pass, which I understand is $10/day, will I only be charged on the days I use the phone locally? Or will I be charged $10/day until I de-activate it? I assume my number will remain the same.

lmacmil Great questions! Your phone number will not change, and once you've added Global Travel Pass to a line and international roaming is enabled, you’ll only be charged when the pass is activated. You can find more information on the Xfinity Global Travel Pass here https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/support/article/global-travel-pass.

I did get the Global Travel Pass and it worked pretty well locally (in Europe). I did make one call to the US and the person I called could not hear me even though I could hear them. I tried twice with the same result. I have no way of knowing where the problem was but I've never had that issue with the phone before so I think it must have been an issue with the global travel pass.
For anyone considering this, note that as soon as you take your phone out of airplane mode and it finds a cell tower, your 24 hour pass is activated along with the $10 charge even if you don't make a call or use the internet.
