how to get an xfinity team member to actually do something ?!
For a YEAR i’ve been trying to merge mine and my husbands account. i have a mobile account and he has a wifi account. we would love to take advantage of the bundling discount. but after speaking to 10+ agents we’ve had no success. just get “it should be merged within 7 days” and yet it’s been a year. now i’m just sick of it and want to cancel my account all together AND THEY WONT LET ME. they keep putting me in the run around. i own my phone and apple watch why can’t i cancel ???? on top of that they’ve been charging me an extra $30 for months but they “can’t do anything about it” because they don’t know what it is and they don’t have any receipts for it. but i’m stillll getting charged. not to mention, when trying to change our wifi to a new address they opened 4 new accounts and none of them worked ! an xfinity store member said they do this because they get paid for every new account opened…
i used to love xfinity and now im beginning to hate them.

Hello, user_0605! Thanks for reaching out about transferring your Xfinity mobile lines or cancelling them. The ownership of the Xfinity account is controlled by the internet account. The account including Xfinity Mobile service can be transferred into a new name by opening an Account Change Request ticket. That transfers the primary and Xfinity Mobile account to the new person. The primary (internet) account has to be active and have no past due balance to take that step. With your primary account being closed, there is no option to transfer the account into your husband's name. Your husband could open an Xfinity Mobile account and if the lines are unlocked port them to his account which would close your account or you could cancel them if you don't need those phone numbers.
