I never received my 500.00 Gift card

I never received my 500.00gift card for switching from Verizon to Xfinity. This is the whole reason I even signed up for service. Now my bill has gone to collections. How are you going to fix this. I spoke with someone and they advised all was well and I should expect my card in two weeks... Nothing then I spoke to another associate that advised they never received my documentation went to Verizon had them print out the whole bill and emailed it to a special email that they gave me... Nothing. This is not right. I have went above and beyond to do my part and you guys give us the run around. I called today they told me they had a 200.00 gift card for me and sent that virtual.. Thank you but the promotion was for 500.00 so that I could pay off my phone I had a new I phone 15 it was worth 800.00 dollars. What are you guys doing. I never would have switched . It messed with my credit. It has caused me more grief than anything.

Hi Xfinity,

The years of posts and comments about the buyout scam really makes me nervous. People saying they are ignored, denied reimbursement, etc. - I understand the policy states that within 30 days we must include a copy of the old carrier’s bill with the balance (before it’s paid). Some people may not follow the policy. But many others have commented saying their gift cards are MIA and severely delayed, without reply, etc.

Paying off my carrier’s plan is going to cost me a large amount, and I would love to switch, but I don’t want to play games with getting that refund right before the holidays. Its really sad because I really wanted to switch to Xfinity Mobile but now I feel like I cannot

user_xqz2fs I can understand your concern given the holidays are coming, and seeing many have had issues getting their reimbursement. All are a case by case basis though, so I can't really say any of their issues would be a same issue if you switch. While many have had issues, many others haven't. We are happy to help should something go wrong, but if you follow procedures exactly you should be fine. I can only promise we are here to help if needed.
