I was lied to and I switched my phone service.
Why was I lied to about the free year phone service? I was very happy with my phone service at Cricket. I called to transfer my WiFi service because I moved. In the process of setting up the transfer I was offered free phone service for a year if I switched my phone service to Xfinity. I didn't ask about their phone service. I was made the offer. After finely getting the switch done and my new phone activated (it took 3 days to activate the new phone. And then the person helping me gave up and hung up. I continue to work at downloading the e-Sims card to complete the phone setup). The next day I happen to be browsing around in the Xfinity app and see that I have a service bill. I called Xfinity to explain I was supposed to have free phone service for a year. After finally speaking with a supervisor I finally succumb to them telling me that I didn't qualify for the free service for a year. Again I didn't qualify for a service I was offered. And the solution they came with was reprimanding the person that sold me the service I now have to pay for. Not a happy customer.

Hello, @user_4ei2hm thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. This isn't the experience we want you to have, and completely understand why you wouldn't be happy when being told one thing at the time of setting up service then being billed. I appreciate all the detailed information you've provided, it is really helpful and would like to investigate further.
- When speaking with the supervisor about the free line, did they say why you wouldn't qualify?
We do offer a 14-day guarantee with any purchased devices, and the Xfinity Mobile service doesn't have a contract if no device was purchased. When did you start the Xfinity Mobile service?
