iPad scam
Went to Xfinity store to return old cable equipment due to an equipment upgrade. While there, the salesperson said I could get an IPad and my bill would stay the same whether I got the IPad or not. He was obviously referring to my cable bill. What he didn’t tell me was my mobile bill would change and that I would be paying $10 per month for a new line plus $6.94 per month for the 50% off IPad. Also, landline was deleted and I’m not sure why! Is this a scam or just misleading business practices. Taking advantage of unsuspecting customers.
I’m a senior citizen on a fixed income and definitely not pleased with the honesty and integrity of Xfinity. This should be looked into at a corporate level.

Hello @user_stbdvu, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry to hear about this experience. It’s completely understandable why you’re feeling upset and concerned, especially with the unexpected charges and changes to your services. No one should feel misled or taken advantage of, and I can absolutely see how frustrating this must be, particularly on a fixed income. What you described is not the experience we want for our customers, and I appreciate you taking the time to bring it to our attention. We’d definitely like the opportunity to review what happened.
If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, we'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
