Is Xfinity Mobile is a huge scam?
Around February I was solicited by a Xfinity rep to try Xfinity Mobile. I was told that I would not be charged if I did not active or use the service. I ended up never giving it a try however after a month I was charged.
I called and got the charge disputed and got a refund. I also canceled the service altogether since it was clear that I would continue to be charged for a service I never activated nor used. Lo and behold I was charged again in April for $48 (which is over 2x the amount the original rep quoted me for anyways). I called once again and disputed the charge and confirmed with the customer service rep that I would not be charged again.
Guess what. This month I have another $20 charge AND was never refunded the April charge.
So the question is: Is Xfinity Mobile a scam? What lies are the sales team allowed to tell to get you to agree to the service? How much will Xfinity charge you for a service you didn't use and also canceled?
For anyone even considering Xfinity mobile I would highly suggest looking at a different provider since it looks like this service will overcharge you and make it a nightmare to switch.
