Issues canceling a plan with a phone number I already ported out
A few days ago, I ported two phone numbers from Xfinity Mobile to another carrier. Both lines were on iPhone 17 Pro/Max devices, which I’ve already returned.
Here’s the issue:
- One of the numbers still shows as active on my Xfinity account.
- I haven’t received any confirmation or communication about the cancellation or refund.
- I’ve called support multiple times. At one point, I was told that if they cancel the remaining number, I would lose it — but that doesn’t make sense, since I’ve already successfully ported that number out.
I’m stuck now because I don’t know what steps to take to ensure my account gets updated properly and I receive the refund for the returned devices.
Has anyone else run into this? What should I do to resolve it?
