Mobile 3 GB Shared data - gone?

I was on a 3gb shared plan with my husband's and my phones.  I had to switch my account to a new address and when I did I was switched to a 1 gig shared plan.  I did not ask to be switched.  There is no option for a 3 gig any longer.  I thought current customers were grandfathered into their plans.  I contacted Xfinity support today and was told they could not help me and that I could choose either by the gig or unlimited.  Is this true?

Hi user_h5ramn,thank you for sharing all of those relevant details and for taking the time to visit our Forum for support. If you were on a grandfathered Mobile plan, once a change is made, you would have 30-days to request your previous plan. If that timeline has past, then there isn't a way to get the older plan back.

I did not even realize it changed until I saw the next months bill.  I should have been informed when I talked to a rep when I had them change my address.  The 3 gb shared plan worked well for us.  I will be switching to another mobile phone provider.
