Never received gift card

Got hoodwinked and bamboozled by xfinity!! Xfinity ran a promotion if you with another cell phone carrier, if you switch to them as your mobile provider they would pay off the old carrier by giving you a $500 visa gift card. Ever time I called Xfinity, they hounded me to leave Verizon and switch to them.

Finally !  I switched from Verizon to xfinity and traded in my lphone pro max.. Here we go.......Never received the gift

card...and it's been over 3 months. Was not

able to talk to no one on the phone, just kept

being redirected to text messages my

concerns. Did that, and that was totally

useless to the 3rd Degree !! So ! went to the

xfinity store and was there for hours, only to

leave with the same predicament, I came in

with.  They saw I had the promotion and traded in my phone, plus send in the information that was required. But was nit able to rectify the situation  They were Clulless and I was

Dumbfounded! Long story short, Xfinity

STIFFED me with the Verizon bill. 1 had to

pay Verizon off because they would not

close my account till the phone was payed

off. Unbelievable Xfinity would do a long

time Loyal customer this way!! l'm have

multiple services with xfinity and tempted to go to another provider...

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_jnocjq. I will be happy to look into any issue with that promotion issue from here. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

I am having this exact same problem! I was promised by 4 different phone agents that I would receive a $700 gift card after paying off an $800 Verizon bill to make the switch. It was even a supervisor on the phone line who made this commitment to me MULTIPLE times. I was clear I would not switch if they weren’t able to cover my bill and I was originally calling to cancel my internet service because of poor value. I got swindled into the phone deal so that they could offer a better promo on the bundle of phone+internet. Now I am out $800 (they told me

I needed to submit the bill within 30 days of the conversation, which required me to pay off the Verizon bill before receiving the new one) and have been given no clarity on when I will receive the gift card. Finally went into a store today and the Xfinity employee said the phone agents lied to me and I won’t be getting anything. Don’t fall for this scam!!! Cannot believe Xfinity enables their employees, multiple agents, to lie to you to make the sale. Obviously this is part of their MO given what the instore employee said.
