Never received promotion giftcards

I transferred 2 new phone lines on March 14.  I’ve talked to one rep who said I needed to wait May 10. Then I spoke to another rep who said I need to wait until beginning of June. I called yesterday and they said I need to wait mid July because it can take 2 additional weeks…. It takes 2 additional weeks to received a virtual email giftcard? I find the information I have been given very misleading and deceptive. I have seen a similar post from someone here on May 2024 complaining about the same thing. we are being given a phone number that disconnects you and when you do a call back they never calls us back. I have saved all my off transcripts with the misinformation from each representative and expect my gift cards to be honored.

I’ve been on hold with the number that was given - 866-385-8392. Said it will take 30 mins. I waited 30, and now it says the wait time is 1,405 minutes..?! Is this a scam??

Hello, thanks for responding. I did speak with online chat, and that was one of the reps that gave me wrong information. I requested to speak with a supervisory and did. The supervisor gave me the 866 number to send the gift cards but that’s where I had a 30 minute wait time that changed to 1400 minutes when I continued to wait.

@user_ritzray​ the same exact thing happened to me, I was told if I purchased a phone through them I would receive a $200 gift card within 90 days. I still have not received anything and have followed up so many times I can’t keep count anymore. An agent even told me that sometimes other agents may say things just to get you to add a like or buy a phone. If this is true, that is false advertisement on Xfinity’s part. I hope you do get your gift card, I’m sorry you are going through this.

@user_4xl0ea​ how frustrating! I am so sorry that this is happening to you too. This definitely seems to be a theme.. I really hope this gets rectified and you get your gift cards too.
