United Healthcare Ucard not working to pay mobile bill

I did contact United Healthcare Ucard. The agent said they paid the bill, but Xfinity denied it. When I called Xfinity, the agent said they don't accept the Ucard but that I should also check that my payment information is correct, which it is.

According to our bill-pay article, the Ucard is not listed in the types of payments we accept, however, if they are able to provide you with an American Express, Discover, Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card or ACH transfer from a valid US checking or savings account. According to the Ucard website, only internet service is covered under the utility section and a mobile service would not be considered an internet utility. I believe that is the main issue you're running into when attempting to pay your Xfinity Mobile bill with your Ucard. Only Xfinity Internet service qualifies. 

The brochure from United Healthcare lists that payments for home phones are included, and I presume that would cover cell phones. I wanted to show you a few screenshots. Is there a way I can do this without getting a message to delete them? I haven't tried paying for the internet, so I don't know whether that would work. They only offer the Ucard, not the other cards you listed. Xfinity then needs to include the Ucard as a form of payment to serve their customers.

Why does Xfinity not accept the Ucard, which would make things easier for me and others?

When I go to Ucard bill pay and type in Xfinity, it immediately accepts this vendor and automatically enters the Comcast address. 

Getting clear answers should not be such a time-wasting hassle. 

Xfinity Mobile is not classified as a home phone service and would not be qualified to receive payments from United Healthcare. Xfinity Voice is considered a home phone service as you are not able to use the service outside the home unlike with a mobile phone and service. Our team would not be able to comment on the rhyme or reason Xfinity does not currently accept payments for Xfinity Mobile through United Healthcare's Ucard. 

The main issue is to get United Healthcare to expand its eligibility to include mobile service coverage under its plan. Comcast/Xfinity can't control the policies of other companies. 

Xfinity Internet service is a different service than Xfinity Mobile and are separate accounts. As it states on the United Healthcare web page, mobile phone service is not included and you would not be allowed to make a payment for your Xfinity Mobile service using your Ucard. Only Xfinity Internet and Xfinity Voice service would qualify for payments with the Ucard, per their website.

Thanks for your reply. What do I need to do to escalate this issue? We must investigate why Xfinity does not accept the Ucard for mobile. Once I understand why, I can plan my next move with United Healthcare. Otherwise, it's back to a dead end with United Healthcare, where an agent told me they did pay the mobile bill, but Xfinity denied it. I would not rely on United Healthcare's website for accurate information. 

I have yet to try using the Ucard for internet payment.
