Want to pay Xfinity mobile with bank checking account vs. credit card

Is there a way to set up the autopay source for my mobile bill to come from my checking account instead of a credit card? If there is, I can't figure it out.

@user_fpnzd6 Here are the instructions;

  • Sign in to your Xfinity Mobile account: Go to the Xfinity website or app and log in.
  • Navigate to Billing: Click on "Billing" or a similar option in your account.
  • Select "Autopay": Find the "Autopay" or "Automatic Payments" section.
  • Choose your payment method: Select the payment method you want to use for automatic payments (bank account or credit/debit card).
  • Add a new bank account (if needed): If you're adding a new bank account, you'll need to connect to your financial institution using Plaid to verify the account.
  • Confirm your identity: You may be asked to confirm your identity by entering a six-digit code sent to a trusted contact method.
  • Agree to terms and conditions: Check the box next to "I agree to the Automatic Payments Terms & Conditions".
  • Click "Set Up": Click the "Set Up" button to finalize the process.

Nope. On my "Update payment method" screen I only have the choice of "credit or debit card". Nowhere does it offer "add a new bank account".

Hi there, @user_fpnzd6! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum! At this time, the payment methods accepted are credit and debit cards. There is no option to pay directly from a bank account.  If you have a debit card that is linked to your desired checking account, that would be the way to go! You can find more information about updating your payment method here : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/how-to-pay-xfinity-mobile-bill

That's odd since my Xfinity internet is autopay thru my bank. I guess different divisions use different billing software packages.

@user_fpnzd6, yes, the process is different between home services and mobile. I'm not sure if that will change in the future, but we appreciate the feedback!  For right now, if you want to use a bank account, a debit card that is linked would be the way to go!
