What are the specifics on tethering?

I can't really find info on this on the website.  I know in the past with the per gig plan, I believe you could tether and it was treated just like the regular data you pay for.  Since the unlimited plans are a little cheaper now and the per gig is going up, I am wondering if tethering is allowed on the unlimited plan.
