Why if I cancelled service on 3/16/26 did I get a bill on 4/1/26 for a full month.

Why if I cancelled service on 3/16/26 did I get a bill on 4/1/26 for a full month? Customer service also said I'd be billed for the partial month next month.

user_8df889 Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your billing after you disconnected. It can take some time for a disconnect request to fully process, and a new bill may post in that time. However, once the disconnect is processed, you will receive credit back for the time that was not used. You can check the status of your Xfinity account in the Xfinity app on the account tab. If your account is active is would show your plan description, but if not, it would let you know the account is no longer active. If you check the Xfinity app, what do you see on the account tab?
