Xfinity changed our plan without our knowledge

We had a 10 gig plan that we liked
For our mobile lines, we had called customer service to ask about a charge on our account. Customer service took the charge off our bill but then changed our plan! 

And now we have unlimited which we never asked for, and we’re trying to revert back to our 10 gig plan

There was no email confirmation . There was nothing confirming that we would change our plan. They’ve told us that they would change it back and that we would have to wait 10 days that was two months ago and now our bill is $30 more a month. 

After hours and hours and hours on the phone, no one seems to help us or care. We even went to the store to see if they could help us but they could not. Bottom line is, customer service changed our plan, raised our price without our knowledge or confirmation. This has to be illegal.
