Xfinity Mobile Free for a Year Scam

I have the Xfinity Fast Internet plan (600mbps) and have received emails/mailers saying my Internet plan comes with a free one year mobile line. We signed up on August 16 and were billed yesterday for $42.81. I called and was told my Internet plan doesn’t qualify and the line will not be free for a year. Ironically, during the time I was on the phone with Xfinity, I received another email for this promotion.  The Fast plan appears to have speeds higher than the 300k mbps plan required for this promotion. What a scam.

Sorry to hear about your concerns with your Xfinity Mobile plan @MadMomma772. Typically, if you have a Xfinity mobile promotion is valid as long you sign up within 90 days of your internet plan.

To confirm, when you signed up for your mobile plan, did you confirm the recurring monthly amount that is listed in the offer approval?

Hello, I’ve been an Xfinity internet customer for many years. I recently changed the plan back in June. I’ve talked the three different customer service reps concerning the free mobile line. The last representative, Jones, on Saturday 8/30, was super helpful and said all would be taken care of and the mobile line would be free. I don’t see these changes reflected on my account. This is super frustrating.
