Xfinity Mobile
Eighteen months ago, I made a mistake when I accepted the transfer of my three phone numbers from T-Mobile to Xfinity. They offered me three new phones. Xfinity sent me the phones. They activated for me. After a month, Xfinity called me to ask why I had not activated my three lines. I told them that they have already. I was using the phone to receive the call, which showed that it was active. They said they had to re-enter my info again. Next month, I started to receive two bills for the same service. I called again. Xfinity apologized when they realized that they had made a mistake and created two accounts. They told me that they will close one of the accounts. They did. However, the following month, I received the bill charging me for three phones that were initially free. I called again. Xfinity apologized one more time. They realized that my account lost the promotion for free phones when they closed the duplicate account. They informed me that they cannot fix it in the system, and I would have to call EVERY MONTH for the next twenty months to fix it manually. Xfinity would give me a $ 87.40 credit every month.
So far, they have done that every month after I called them until last month. Xfinity informed me that the system rejected my request for credit because my account had exceeded its limit. I have spoken with Xfinity managers worldwide, including some in India, Egypt, and Honduras. All of them told me that I am right, but they cannot do anything. They told me to go to a local Store. I visited a local store in San Jose, CA. The manager, David Rodriguez, said to me that there was nothing he could do. I said, "Then, what do I do?" He just said, "I do not know."
My last move was creating a complaint to the FCC. An Xfinity person named Roberto left a message on my voicemail and sent me an email. I answered the email and called back Roberto around 30 times. No answer over the phone. No answer to my email.
Meanwhile, Xfinity will be charging me $87.48 for six months until the two-year nightmare ends—any advice on what else to do? I wonder if an attorney would be interested in helping me, and many others who might be living the same nightmare.
