Xfinity Scamming Me

A couple of months ago, I called Xfinity to confirm an issue with my cable bill. In the process, the customer service rep offered me a promotion. She said that I could port my landline to a cell phone and receive a $40 monthly credit on my cable bill. I asked if I was going to pay anything extra for the cell phone and she said no. Now, it's a couple months later and I am not receiving any credit on my cable bill and have a monthly cell phone bill (which I do not need). All I want is to return the cell phone which has never been used and get the money back that I've paid on the cell phone. I've called customer service several times and got the runaround. They've taken my email address and said I would get a follow up email. Never seen one of those. I was even sent to a brick-and-mortar shop. The manager wasn't helpful at all and basically told me I was screwed and there was nothing he could do. I'm sure someone can do something.

What I do know is that as soon as Glo Fiber is installed in my neighborhood, it will be the last Xfinity ever sees of me.

Something similar is happening to me.

Is so hard to get support from them, charging for services that doesnt exist and when asked about it, they said  they are not able to help.

Tried every channel, same luck.

I got the same bait and switch. Three reps told me I'd basically get a free phone for seeing if I like the service--just would need to pay the taxes and fees on the phone.

Lo' and behold, I will have to return all these phones because even though the device has no payments, apparently it requires keeping the line for 24 months before it can be mine!

Gotta be careful with these slick-talking overseas representatives.
