Thank you for creating a new post. I am sorry to hear you are looking to possibly cancel service. I know service issues can be a real headache, and I can certainly do everything I can to help. Can you tell me more about your internet troubles? Are you having performance issues, or has service been down this whole time?

@user_23zr5d This is a great question!

We offer a seasonal hold for our customers.

It's a minimum of 90 days.

For eligibility:

Your bill must be up-to-date with no past-due balance.

Have a U.S. mailing address or be signed up for paperless billing. Bills can’t be sent outside the U.S.

When the plan starts, most services pause except Xfinity Home, Xfinity Mobile, Services included in a bulk contract and Some streaming services.

Have been a customer for at least 30 days.  If they just paid a past-due bill, they can sign up after 24 hours.

Internet Essentials accounts are not eligible.

Haven’t used the plan more than twice in the past 12 months.

The cool part is you can set it up from your side. I have a link with those steps https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/seasonal-convenience-plan-enrollment

Please let us know if you have any questions on this information.
