Difficulty Accessing Older "comcast.net" account

Hello,

Looking for any help with the below Issue. I am trying to access a different "@comcast.net" account that has not been used in many many years. My family all had these various emails a while back. I am trying to access an old account that is connected to an EA account. When I try to reset the password to get into the email of this account I am met with this message that I need to connect to the home wifi of the account. Is there anyway to initiate a password reset through any other channels, since there is no active home network that houses this account?

user_h1f40l Thank you so much for your post for help with your old Comcast email address. Old email accounts do get deleted after 24 months of inactivity. If it has been longer than that since your last login into your account more than likely been removed. Since you do not currently have an active account for services, our Customer Security Assurance team would have to help to confirm if it is still active and help with options to reset your login if so. You can call out 1-800-Xfinity number and ask to be connected to them. You can also say online security into the automated system to try and get routed directly.
