Get "Something unexpected happened" when trying to log onto Account and Identity or Update Contact info

I get a message "Something unexpected happened" whenever I log into my Comcast email and try to access  Account and Identity or Update Contact Info. I've tried using different browsers, clearing caches and using regular and incognito browsers but nothing has worked. I also don't have an option to DM a member of the support team through this forum. Please advise me on how I can update my contact information.

"I can log into my Xfinity account, but the Account & Identity page always returns 'Something unexpected happened.' Apple Mail on my Mac now says it cannot verify my account or password, and SMTP is offline. I believe there is an account authentication or profile issue that needs to be reset."

Bobcat444, thank you for letting us know you are running into this issue when trying to access your account and identity information, and your email when connected to a 3rd party platform.

For the Email error you are getting, which is common to receive if there was a password change, but your email settings were not updated. When using a 3rd party platform, anytime you update or make changes to your password for Xfinity.com, you would also need to update that change in your settings. Please check here to see where your password needs to be updated.

As for the Account and & Identity page, are you connected to your home wifi and not using cellular data when you get that error message?
