HBO MAX account issue

have the StreamSaver bundle, but when I go to my subscription hub to activate Max, it gives me the error: 'Activate your Xfinity service first for access to streaming services.' My internet is already working. Please have a Tier 2 agent refresh or reprovision my StreamStore entitlements.

Hello @user_hbp4kj, and thank you for reaching out to us on our Xfinity Community Forum. I understand how frustrating it can be when you're unable to activate and enjoy a service that's included with your StreamSaver bundle.

To activate StreamSaver services such as Max, Netflix, and Peacock, your Xfinity services must first be installed and active on the account. Customers typically receive an activation email and can also manage eligible subscriptions through their Subscription Hub. You can find more information in our support article here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/streamsaver-offers-overview.

Can you let us know what troubleshooting you've already tried? For example, have you:

  • Attempted activation through the Subscription Hub?
  • Tried using a different browser or device?
  • Received any activation emails from Xfinity?

If you've already completed these steps and continue to receive the "Activate your Xfinity service first for access to streaming services" error, please let us know. We'll be happy to take a closer look and help get this resolved.👍

Yes, i have attempted to go through the xfinity app and manage subscriptions. I have tried to also do this through other browsers. I was able to activate all the other streaming services but HBO Max is the only one that shows must activate Xfinity Service, which i did. Its been 72 hours since i have transferred over to my new address. HBO Max was working perfectly before, i just don’t think the status is updating. I clicked on direct links and it still shows me “must activate Xfinity Service first”
