How to change my name on my billing statements

I legally changed my name years ago. When I used the "Update my account info" link in the app and on the web, it only updated my name in the app interface, but not when I log in to Xfinity via the web to look at anything but my account info. The PDFs of my billing statements also show the wrong name. It even tried to get me to use my old name when I signed up for this forum. It is offensive to me that I can't reach a human to resolve this issue. The phone number for xfinity service won't let me engage on anything but technical service. The Xfinity Assistant keeps telling me to update my account info which I've already done. How is this customer service? As soon as I can, I'm cancelling and moving to something else.

I'd be happy to look more into this for you, if you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
