New account created - can't access "account and identity" or "update contact info".

I'm a new customer that just created a new account an hour ago so I can buy the internet bundle deal, but every time I click on the "account and identity" or "update contact info" tab I get the "something unexpected happened. try refreshing the page." error. I tried using chrome, firefox, and internet explorer. I even cleared my cache and I still get this error.

Also, when I try to look up my xfinity ID, I get this error message: "This information doesn't match our records". I have already gotten the verification code.

Did you ever receive any type of confirmation email with the services you've selected? If you hadn't received that confirmation email within 24 hours, there is the chance that the account may not have been created or there may have been an error on the back end.

@XfinityBillie​ I cant select the services because it brings me a page to verify my date of birth, which I assume I have to update in the "account and identity" tab.

Bruisedwater Hmmm, that is odd. Just to clarify, the issue is when you are trying to set up the account? Are you trying to create a user ID prior to setting up services?

@XfinityBillie​ I choose the internet services that I wanted, which leads me to a webpage asking me create an xfinity account, which I do. It then takes me to a webpage that ask me to verify my DOB. I entered it in and I get an error message, which you can see in the picture above. At that point, I assumed I have to finish updating my newly created account, and so I tried clicking on both the "account and identity" or "update contact info" tab. That is where I fot the "something unexpected happened. try refreshing the page." error
