Payment method

I am trying to change my payment method but can't find the proper screen.

I know managing payment methods can feel a bit confusing at times, and I’m glad you came to us for help. Here’s a clear, step‑by‑step guide to managing your saved payment methods online and through the Xfinity app.

 

Manage Saved Payment Methods Online:

Sign in to your Xfinity account to access your Billing details.
Under Bill Settings, select Payment Methods.
From here, you can add, edit, or remove any saved payment methods.
To add a new method, choose Add Payment Method and select whether you want to add a:
New bank account, or
New credit/debit card
Then click Continue.


For security, you’ll be asked to confirm your identity by entering a six‑digit code sent to a trusted contact method.
When adding a bank account, you’ll be guided through Plaid, which helps securely verify your banking information.
Enter your name and payment details, agree to the Stored Payment Methods Terms & Conditions, and select Save.
You’ll also have the option to turn on automatic payments using the newly added method.
Once everything is saved, you’ll receive a confirmation message.


Manage Saved Payment Methods in the Xfinity App:

Open the Xfinity app and sign in with your Xfinity ID.

If you don’t have the app yet, you can download it for free from the App Store or Google Play, or text “APP” to 266278.


Tap the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
Select Bill details under your account balance.
Tap Bill settings in the Payments section.
Choose Payment Methods.

Here, you can remove or add a payment method.


Select Add Payment Method to add a new bank account or card, then tap Continue.
Just like online, you’ll need to enter a six‑digit verification code for security.
Enter your name and payment details, agree to the Terms & Conditions, and tap Save.
You’ll be able to turn on automatic payments if you’d like.
A confirmation message will let you know everything is set.
