Peacock activation

Peacock says my xfinity account is already linked to another peacock account. This happened after moving a couple years ago and I haven’t been able to get it back. Other forum posts say I need to “DM” xfinity support, but I can’t find any way to do that.

Hi there user_0knd93, thanks for taking the time to reach out here on the community forums! I'm sorry to hear you're having issues activating your Peacock offer. If the issue started after moving, it's very likely that your Xfinity ID is still linked to the old address which can cause this exact issue. When you have a moment, can you try the steps listed on our support page covering how to manage multiple accounts with your Xfinity ID under the section titled "Unlink accounts" before trying to activate your offer again, and keep us posted on the results?

I followed those instructions and unlinked my old address. My current address is my default and only linked account now. I tried to activate Peacock again and was met with the same message that my xfinity account is already linked to another peacock account.

@user_0knd93, For your privacy and the security of your account, if you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, we'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

How to send us a direct message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
  3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support."
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.
