Remove modem from account

Hi I want my modem removed from my account so I can set up the system from the beginning to try and fix my WiFi. I keep getting the error: try connecting to cellular data to access the app Your WiFi connection isn't responding right now. To access the app via cellular data, try toggling off WiFi in your device's settings. Then, restart the app

The WiFi works on my phone but this still pops up. This happened after I had to reset my router so I want to restart the process of connecting to Xfinity to see if that fixes the issue.

Hi there @Elis.b w would be happy to assist in making sure the modem is activated and provisioned. Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support. 
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
